Policies
The farmhouse offers a sophisticated escape in a truly secluded setting, the ultimate hideaway. The house contains a fully equipped kitchen, a wood & leather dressed conference room that seats eight, and a comfy living room with hand-crafted upholstery, antiques and discreetly integrated Bose audio. Children
Children of any age are welcome throughout the year at Blackberry Farm. Blackberry Farm’s fine dining restaurant, The Barn, is available for diners 10 years and older. Families with children of all ages are welcome to dine at The Dogwood during normal dinner hours with the relaxed atmosphere.
NIGHTLY CHARGES FOR CHILDREN
Charges for children 7 years of age and older, will be 550 SEK per child, per night, VAT included. This standard room charge covers breakfast, snacks and activities.
ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
At Öjerviks gård, there are plenty of activities suited for children, such as fine arts, outdoor adventure, and engaging with farm animals. Please see the “Family & Children” section of our experiences for ideas of how to shape a fun day for the entire family while at the farm. Private Babysitting is also available, with advanced notice, for 400 SEK/hour.
Dining
All meals are special events at Öjerviks gård , and our Culinary partners take great pride in using only the finest ingredients to create memorable cuisine.
On your day of departure, a boxed lunch can be placed in your vehicle for your journey home. Backpacks, blankets and trail maps are available from the Oak Cottage for exploring the 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm. Ask any team member for his or her favorite picnic spot.
Traditional rates offers nightly accommodations as well as dinner on the day of arrival through lunch on the day of departure within our restaurants during traditional meal hours. Additional food and beverage offerings and experiences are available through private chef events, meals afield or from our All Day Dining Menu offered as room service or in our restaurants during non-traditional dining times (2:30-6:00pm) Monday-Saturday and 12:30pm-6:00pm on Sunday as well as 10:00-12:00pm all days for an additional charge.
Also, upon confirmation of your reservation, please advise us of any special dietary restrictions or requests. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket at dinner, but tie is optional.
Arrival & Departure
We guarantee your room to be ready at 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival. Check out time is 12:00 noon. If you plan to arrive prior to 3:00 PM please notify the Concierge so you can enjoy the many activities Blackberry Farm has to offer while your room is being prepared.
Cancellations
Due to our size, cancellations affect us significantly; therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival will result in a refund of the deposit minus a $100.00 non-refundable administration fee. If your reservation is cancelled between 29 – 15 days of arrival we will gladly move your full deposit to new dates from one year of your original arrival date based on availability. If your reservation is cancelled inside 15 days of arrival, half of your original deposit will be forfeited and the remainder of your deposit will be moved to your new reservation dates that must fall within one year of your original arrival date.
Please note that cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the event date will result in a full refund of the tuition rate. Cancellations made within 29 days of the event date will result in a forfeiture of the event activity fee.
Deposit
A two-night deposit will be charged at time of reservation unless a one night stay is booked. All applicable event activity fees will be charged at the time of confirmation.
Pet Policy
Blackberry Farm is pet friendly. Prior notification is required in order to bring your pet on property. A one-time companion fee of $250 will be billed upon departure. While on property, all pets must be on a leash and are not permitted in common areas or restaurants, including the Main House Veranda during meals. Due to their location, not all overnight accommodations are pet-friendly. Pets must remain crated in the Owner’s room while Owner is dining, on a guided activity, in the Wellhouse or in any other non pet-friendly area.
